Options & Fees

These fees were set January 1, 2009 and will, barring unforeseen   circumstances, be effective until December 31, 2009.

Option A: Simple Disposition

 (Please note; Fees include any or all of the services mentioned below)

Includes; one man removal * of the deceased from the hospital morgue Monday thru Friday to CARE for 48 hours as required by law prior to disposition, initial consultation with executor or next-of-kin at your home or our office and completion of necessary documents with Vital Statistics (registration of death);  transportation of the deceased to the crematorium. Fees include any or all of the above-mentioned services and are an included component of options B, C & D:

Base Fee: $720.00
Discounted Fee: $570.00
*Two man immediate removal (e.g. from a house, rest home, etc.): add $100.00
Transportation beyond a 30 km radius of Victoria City Hall ($1.50 per km, plus ferry and ancillary costs)

Option B: Memorial Service

Includes Option A PLUS:

A religious or secular service without the body present; transportation (one vehicle can be supplied) for the family to and from the service; use of chapel and staff; assistance with composition and submission of obituary notice:

Base Fee: $1,070.00
Discounted Fee: $920.00
Two man removal (e.g. from a house, etc.): add $100.00
Transportation beyond a 30 km radius of Victoria City Hall ($1.50 per km, plus ferry and ancillary costs)

Option C: Graveside Service

Includes Option A PLUS:

A graveside service at cemetery of choice; transportation (one vehicle can be supplied) for the family to and from the graveside; use of Funeral Coach and staff; assistance with composition and submission of obituary notice:

Base Fee: $1,220.00
Discounted Fee: $1,070.00
Two man removal (e.g. from a house, etc.): add $100.00
Transportation beyond a 30 km radius of Victoria City Hall ($1.50 per km, plus ferry and ancillary costs)

Option D: Funeral Service

Includes Option A & Option C PLUS:

A religious or secular service; use of chapel and staff, with the deceased present (closed casket); transportation (one vehicle can be supplied) for the family to the Funeral Service, the cemetery where a Burial follows and return:

Base Fee: $1,450.00
Discounted Fee: $1,300.00
Two man removal (e.g. from a house, etc.): add $100.00
Transportation beyond a 30 km radius of Victoria City Hall ($1.50 per km, plus ferry and ancillary costs)
