Aline Marie CHALIFOUR

Aline Marie Chalifour nee L’Heureux born June 2, 1930 passed peacefully March 1, 2014 after a prolonged battle with dementia. Aline was the youngest and 5th child of Arthur L’Heureux and Rose Proulx pioneers of Debden Saskachewan. Aline was predeceased by son David in 1977 and her brother Stan in 2007. Aline is survived by her husband of 62 years George : sons Leo and wife Jeanette , Roch and wife Clara, Denis and wife “Becky” and daughter Lisa (Ternoway) and husband Dan; also by her siblings; Bernadette Doucette of High Prairie; Louise Houle of Surrey; and Paul L’Heureux of Port Alberni. She filled many rolls in her life: daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to so many. Aline will be missed by the many people whose lives she has touched. The family have requested no flowers for the funeral. A donation to a dementia research group would be appreciated. Services will be at St. Joseph The Worker Parish 753 Burnside Rd. West Victoria, BC on March 10th at 11:00 am and internment at Royal Oaks.
