April 3, 1942 - March 6, 2014 |
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane Margaret French on March 6, 2014 after a brief illness. Jane brought joy and laughter into the lives of all who were lucky enough to know her. She truly represented the essence of what it means to be a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Friend. Jane was born in Nunthorpe, UK Apr 3, 1942 and is survived by children Alistair (Karin), Helen (Jeffery), Alex (Karen), and Grandchildren Joy, Katelyn, Liam, Sarah, Samantha, Dylan, Cameron and Emma. She often referred to her children and grandchildren as her life’s greatest accomplishments and she inspired all of us to treat others the way we want to be treated and how to lead by example. Theatre was a life long passion for Jane and she acted for stage & television as well as directed and produced plays during her career in the UK, Singapore and with her dear friends for 35 years at Langham Court Theatre in Victoria. Jane was also a true “super” fan of the Victoria Soccer scene and attended every possible game that her children or grandchildren played. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the amazing team at Victoria Hospice for their care and compassion, and to Dr. Berrang at the Victoria Cancer clinic. May your precious spirit soar on high with your beloved birds and watch over all who adored you. Your life was a symphony of beauty, love and compassion which will be forever be heard in the songs of our little feathered friends. God love you and God bless you. A Celebration of life @ 2pm on Saturday April 12/14 at Langham Court Theatre @ 805 Langham Court Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victoria Hospice or Langham Court Theatre.
