Maria De MELO

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wife, Loving mother & Nònna Maria.   She had a heart of gold that touched everyone around her.  She will be forever loved and never forgotten.  Survived by her husband Jorge; daughters Jessica (Troy), Erica (Jamie) grandchildren Vienna & Maximus) and Son Frankie; father Francesco and mother Rosaria; sisters Lucia (Alessandra)(Cory)(Sarina)(Clara), Pina (Seby)(Santino), Vittoria(Tom)(Carlos)(Vanessa)(Athena),  Angela (Salvo)(Gloria)(Pasquale).  Maria worked with VIHA for many years and was well loved by many members of the community.  She had a wide circle of friends from many walks of life.  The family would like to thank all the doctors involved with Maria’s care and the team of nurses at Victoria Hospice.

Funeral Mass 11:00am Tuesday September 15, 2015 from Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4635 Elk Lake Dr., Victoria BC  At Maria’s request there will be no celebration of life. In lieu of flowers we ask that you please make a donation to Victoria Hospice.
