Brian Malcolm London

Charismatic and inspiring. Born March 24, 1936 in Leeds, England. Brian died on December 27, 2015 in Victoria, BC, with family by his side. Survived by his son John (Wendy), daughter Jane, and grandchildren Julie and Miles. Predeceased by his beloved Dad, John.

Brian held a lifelong passion for mountaineering, fishing, airplanes, sports cars and motorcycles. He loved being a grandparent, and felt privileged being a husband, parent and British soldier.  Brian was a skilled electrician, gifted yoga teacher and gregarious and intellectual storyteller.

Brian’s wanderlust and curiosity for life was evident by those around him, and he was proud to bring his family to Canada from glorious England. He appreciated art, poetry and the infinite beauty of Mt. Rainier. Brian approached dying the same way he approached living: with ferocity, love, gratitude, honour, strength, courage and bravery. Brian, your time here on earth touched so many and your fire will burn bright forever. In lieu of flowers, please enjoy nature in a way that you know Brian would have enjoyed it.
