Michael C W Piddington

Michael is finally at peace.
Predeceased by his loving wife Patricia in 1997, he is remembered by his children Peter, Geoff(Wendy), Emily(Garry) and Sandi(Byron)  as well as his grandchildren Christopher , James, Stacy and by his great granddaughter LilaJade.  Also fondly remembered by his sisters Phyllis and Helen(Dane), sister in law Judy(Bill), numerous nieces and nephews and a great many friends.

Michael was an Anglican minister throughout his life and found great joy in his calling.  He was born and raised in Esquimalt and ended his career at the same church where he had started his journey of faith as a child.He enjoyed being placed in many smaller locations that enabled him to be a large part of the community.He enjoyed spending time outdoors hiking and jogging .Michael even took on the challenge of hiking the Chilkoot Trail in his 70’s.

We would like to thank the care staff at Arbutus View Unit Gorge Road Hospital for taking good care of our Dad for the last few  years and we hold a very special place in our thoughts for several of the staff that went above an beyond in their care of him.
