Trueman, Christopher Mathew Lokken, Born 28 Sept 1981, our charming, kind and gentle Chris, whose smile would light up a room, passed away suddenly on Monday Apr 3rd, 2017. Predeceased by his father Keith Philip Thomas Trueman on 15 Aug 2005, and grandparents: Dr. J. Erwin & A. Evelyn (Nelson) Lokken, and Albert & Florence (Cole), he is survived by his mother Diana Lokken, Step father James (Jay) Jennings, the light of his life his son Jakob (Jake) & Jake’s mother Jennifer (Lesiuk) Taylor, brother Andrew and step brothers Dorian & Evan, uncles & aunts: Gary (Debbie) Lokken, Robin and Christine, cousins: Katie, Elizabeth & Hamish Lokken, and Breanna (Chris) Ingbritson. He will also be missed by extended family and many friends. Chris was a fabulous salesman, loved building websites, and was attending Camosun College. Bike riding, playing basketball, fishing, and driving the boat with dad are will remain wonderful memories for Jake.
A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club on Sunday April 9th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) Mental Health & Addictions or any organization that helps kids, teens and young adults who are struggling to cope.
