OHMAN, Phyllis Neva (February 29, 1936 – July 13, 2021)

After a lovely day with family and friends, Phyllis passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in her sleep at home on July 13, 2021. Phyllis is predeceased by her son Mark and survived by her husband Keith, daughter Tracey Scott (Rob McMurtry), grandchildren David Scott (Carlee Treasure), Elizabeth Scott and Jonathan Ohman, her sister Enid Dupuis and numerous nieces and nephews.

Phyllis loved travel, volunteering, horseback riding and her dogs. She enjoyed connecting with others, whether it was entertaining in her home or baking for family and friends, volunteering at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital or at church, or getting together for dinners out, coffee, golf or card games. She was a steadfast and treasured friend to many. An outdoor memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 7 at 11 a.m. on the grounds of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, 7921 St. Stephens Road, Saanichton. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the BC SPCA, a charity of your choice or paying a kindness forward on her behalf.
