With family by her side, It is with heavy hearts that we say good bye to Esther Davidson Jarco, our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. Esther was born in 1926 in Elie, Scotland. She is predeceased by her mother, Esther and three brothers, Archie, Adam and Robert as well as her late husband, Kazimierz., whom she married in 1946. The family immigrated to Canada in 1957 where they settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Esther was employed with the Health Science Centre in Winnipeg as a medical records technician where she worked up until her retirement. Esther and her husband later moved to British Columbia. Esther was an elegant lady who always took great pride in her appearance. She also was a dynamo when it came to any kind of card or board games. She had a keen and inquiring mind which continued to be sharp up to the day she died. Her family was of great importance to her and we will be left with wonderful memories of our trips to Mayne Island where the whole family would congregate during summer holidays not to mention the wonderful years we all spent at the family cottage at Lake Winnipeg. Esther leaves to cherish her memory, son, Ludwik (Ruth), son Richard (Julie), daughter, Irena (Gary) as well as grandchildren, Lianne (Bohdan) Nosyk Jenny (Dustin) Hughes as well as her great-grandchildren, Hudson, Harper, Mila and Natasha as well as her family in Scotland. The family wishes to thank the staff, nurses and care aides at the Gorge Long Term Care Facility for their kindness and care they provided to Esther during her stay. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the SPCA, on Esther’s behalf. Internment will take place at a future date. |
