Al defined the word gentleman. I especially appreciated his calm, caring, helping ways, and his wisdom! I feel enriched and blessed to have known Al! I know he will missed by many, --and definitely me!!!

A true gentleman. His quiet strength and kind heart is will be forever remembered. Always in my heart.

I have fond memories of Al during my time as a camper, volunteer, and then staff member at Camp Columbia. I think fondly of my last years at the camp visiting behind the kitchen. I have been so grateful for his and Diane’s unwavering support over the years after beginning my own career. It is with much gratitude that I had the opportunity to work with him and share news from time to time. Many condolences to you, Diane, and to all of his children.
