My mom, Audrey’s beautiful blue Irish eyes and heart of gold will always be remembered and I will treasure every moment spent with you. Your love poured out to your family and I am so blessed to be your daughter. I cherish every moment every memory we spent together. You brought so much joy to my life and taught me by your example how to love, care and nurture and how to serve the Lord. I think of you with dad continuing your love story together in Heaven. Til we meet again, my most beloved mom…to be sure. I will miss and forever love you. Your daughter Kathleen R. Sugrue.

AUDREY ADRIAN, MY SISTER My sister Audrey was always very special to me. I admired how she always seemed cheerful and willing to help, spending most of her life serving others. She showed a true quiet Christian spirit, believing and showing goodness to all. She did not preach but showed kindness in her actions. She lived much as my mother, Granny Patterson did before her-- not in the limelight but shining a special light for all who knew and loved her. I remember her special skills as a homemaker, Her baking was excellent and she always had goodies baked as Alf had a "sweet tooth". Audrey served tea in a very special way and it had a ritual--milk in first!! Audrey's home was always welcoming and I remember when younger how we would all gather there on special occasions. I now realize how much work this must have been for her but she was always there for her family. Audrey looked after my son, Ted when I was going to university in the summer and cheerfully adjusted her routines to help me. This helped me to get my final teaching degree. I remember also her beautiful blue eyes that twinkled and her lovely thick brown hair! We enjoyed chatting and singing together when I visited her in the care home. I think of her when I hear the words to "My Wild Irish Rose" She was one of the sweetest flowers that grows!! No words can really express how much I loved her and how she was special to me, Her quiet courage in her final years as she struggled with Alzheimer's showed such inner strength. A great lady--loved and was loved! GWEN
