It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Anna Hogan on February 7, 2026. Barb was the beloved wife of the late Roy Hogan, with whom she shared a deep and devoted love.

Barb was a dedicated office manager with Social Services for 25 years, a role she took great pride in. Creative and talented, she was an avid seamstress who loved making her own clothing. She also discovered a passion for cake decorating, delighting in baking and beautifully decorating cakes for her children’s birthdays and later for her grandchildren. These acts of love became cherished family memories.

Barb and Roy treasured their time at Spider Lake Springs, where they enjoyed peaceful days, lasting friendships, and countless happy moments together.

Barb is survived by her children, Elizabeth and Leonard (Daisy); her stepchildren, Sandra (Greg), Norman (Karin), and Darryl (Tracy); her sister Linda; her nieces and nephews; and her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Barb was loved and adored by all who knew her and will be deeply missed. She is now reunited with the love of her life, Roy.

Rest in peace, Mom. Your love and memories will live on forever in our hearts.

In keeping with Barb’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Those wishing to honour her memory may make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in lieu of flowers.
