Bernie passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Jan 4, 2016. He was born in Chilliwack, BC on Nov 25, 1943. Survived by sister Melinda (Gord), Vicky (Vic), and predeceased by sister Deanna?. Bernie worked at BC Tel for many years before starting his next career as an Organic Farmer (Two Wings Farm) and Percussionist (Mufaro Marimba.) He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years Marti, and their 7 children Dean (Krysta), Dina (Brian), Craig (Tracy), Willie (Haley), Tim (Ali), Justin (Jessy), Morgan (Tim) and 13 grandchildren.
Many thanks to the nursing staff at VGH and special thanks to the Baha’i community, family and friends for their love and support. The world is much poorer for the loss of this radiant soul, but we are eternally grateful for our time together.
