MURPHY, David John Past away at home on November 12, 2013 with his loving wife Marilyn at his side. He was born in Regina, Sask on August 31, 1946. He came to Victoria in 1969 to start First Memorial Services as manager until retiring in 1989. Dave loved boating, fishing, travelling and his motorcycle. He was predeceased by his mother, Elsie Tedford. Survived by the love of his life Marilyn, his much loved son Doug and granddaughters Kendra and Taryn, brother Garry (Janet), nephews Trace and Travis, nieces Ashley and Tania, step-father Cecil Tedford and many special friends. Private interment was held at Royal Oak Burial Park. Celebration of life will be held on December 7, 2013 at The Victoria Edelweiss Club, 108 Niagara Street from 11 a.m. – 3p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Victoria Hospice.
