Douglas Roy Barker was born in Victoria on March 29, 1927 and died November 23, 2015. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Flora Loretta Marrison. Roy is survived by their children: Fern (Mark) Perkins, Paul Barker, Alix (Mark) Schaefer and grandchildren Rachel Perkins, Vincent (Lori) Perkins, Joel Perkins, Hayley and Carmen Schaefer. Roy is also survived by 3 great grandchildren: Jackson, Brody and Cameryn Perkins. Roy is also predeceased by his parents Joseph and Constance Barker, sisters, Olive, Verna, Evelyn and Muriel, brothers Leonard, David and Gordon. Roy is survived by his younger brother Bill (Gerry), sisters-in law June and Evelyn Barker, Rosemarie Davis, Joan McGaw (Ron Johnson), brothers-in-law Herbert (Doreen) and Alan Marrison, many nieces, nephews and loving companion Barb Jefferies, who brought him happiness in his final years.
