We enjoyed Ned's company at the Stickey Wicket Pub and had many long conversations on politics, his days on the steamship, his earlier life, his children as well as just general light-hearted conversations. He was a gentleman, who often spoke of his wife Andrena with great love and was especially proud of her cooking! We knew he was ill again but were saddened to hear of his death. What a loss!
