Dear Murray, Karen, Lesley and families – It was of great sadness I read of Elizabeth’s passing in the Times Colonist. Elizabeth and I worked together at Westcoast Savings Credit Union, as it was called a long time ago – for many years. She was a great friend and a good co-worker to me. She loved her girls and was proud of you both. Murray – I met you a few times when you would come in with her on some Saturdays when I was working. We lost touch with each other and I am sad for that; when she got sick I respected her privacy and then I moved out of Sooke and up to Mill Bay. I do remember with fondness her friendship and caring and I am sad for your loss. She loved you all very much and I love the fact that she had Grandchildren in her life.
