Pearce – Harry William, 76, died Tuesday January 12, 2016 at Victoria Hospice Society in Victoria, British Columbia following a battle with cancer.
Proceeded by Parents William and Blance Pearce and son Ross.
Sisters Cora, Lyda, Alma, Ruth & Brother Jack.
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Florence (Floss) Pearce; his children, Donna, Michael, and Nancy. His grandchildren, Nicholas, Ashley, Tyler, Tayler, Malynn, David and Mellisa. Brother Frank and sisters Gloria, Greta, Louise, Rowena. With many Nieces and Nephews as well.
Harry had many old time friends from his service in the Military, his childhood, and being raised on the East Coast of Canada.
He proudly served in the Canadian Military (PPCL & RCR) from 1956-1970. Serving our Country prior to his marriage and during his marriage stationed in Germany. Then stationed in Newfoundland and retiring from the service in Victoria, BC.
Harry had a career in the Drywall business for many years prior to retirement.
Harry will always be remembered by his wife’s family the parsons.
A celebration of life will be held with a date to follow in Victoria, BC and we will reach out with the timelines in the coming weeks.
