As I sit 1200 km away my heart is so heavy. I spent most of the night looking at air flights wondering if I should return to Victoria for the day.Credit card in hand I wondered what should I do. I relived our last words over and over in my head, I will forever remember your huge smile when you looked up and seen me there beside you and the loving words and tears that followed ... Words that only forever friends exchange. I choose to retain that as our last memory. Today I will share this moment from 1200 km away. 2:00 Alberta time I will be looking into the same blue sky. Jacqui Rush As your family prepares to say good buy, I will be looking at the same blue sky. I will remember and smile and cry a lot too. Thank you for the 35 plus years of love, kindness and true friendship. I will honor you. I refuse to say good buy for in my heart you will never die.
