Thinking about your brave wartime enlistment & distinguished post-war service as an RCAF pilot on this misty Remembrance Day. You were loved, still you are loved. Rest gently, old soul.

One year along and I still see the golfer, the pilot, the prankster, the socializer, the dad. Enjoy the freedom and the incredible views, Dad...we miss you. Brad

How was your first Christmas as an angel?? I feel your love & sense you watching over us. Thanks for that connection, old pilot! Our first year without you begins. Please wrap us in the comfort of your wings & hold us all in your loving embrace when we think of you, when we call on you for help during this coming year. You were loved, Dad...I love you now & always will. You're our special angel forever. Saw ya last! xoxoxo

He was an awesome father and great guy. Part philosopher, part dare-devil and part comedian. Life with Dad was always an adventure. Always social, lots of life lived outdoors, always looking for the fun angle. And of course, like most Dads, he was larger than life until he wasn't. And then he was a friend.
