Jeffery Bernard WHALEN
October 10, 1963 - June 7, 2013
Share your Memorial with Family & Friends
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Jeffery Bernard Whalen. Predeceased by his parents, Judith and Warren.
Jeff leaves behind his sisters, Cynthia and Deborah, who are left with many fond memories of his kind and loving ways. Jeff was a brother in-law to
James and an uncle to Kristy and her husband Craig. Jeff was also a great uncle to his much-loved Great Nephew, Austin and his Great Niece, Ava.
Long time family friends, Shirley and Larry share in our devastating loss. He leaves behind the love of his Life Michelle: “I will never find another he
used to say.” Jeff’s long time friends, Joan & Gordon, also share in our grief. He will be sadly missed by his adored, adopted gammy, Norma.
Jeff met many people on his short stay in Victoria. He thought so highly of the people he met and enjoyed time spent with his extended families:
the Martin’s, and the Farley’s. Jeff enjoyed his birthday celebrations and the birthday hat tradition. Special thanks and love to Jeff’s neighbor’s,
Rosa and Clark, who we are so very thankful for all their help during this difficult time. Jeff thought a lot of you and enjoyed the late night talks and
guitar times.
We will always remember Jeff for his kind spirit and joyful disposition. Jeff was always there for you with a kind, encouraging word. He had a great
fascination for cars, tinkered with them, sold them and enjoyed his time working at Dailmer Chrysler Canada. He also enjoyed doing crossword
puzzles. His passion for learning and love for music was an inspiration to us all. Jeff loved sports and followed the BC lions, and Canucks, never
missing a game. Jeff always had a soft spot in his heart for animals and his great compassion for our four legged friends will never be forgotten. We
are missing you now and for always, but Jeff will live on in our hearts forever. Safe Journey, dear brother to your beloved God. In lieu of flowers,
you may wish to make a donation to the Victoria SPCA Good Neighbor.
