It is with great sadness that the family of Jeremy Why announces his passing on the morning of August 31, 2023. He is deeply missed by his loving wife, Barbara Wade, daughter Jennifer Keith, and son, Jeffrey Why.
Jeremy came to Canada as a young teenager from England, where his family settled in Ontario. Jeremy started his career in banking, a career which he deeply loved. A transfer to Victoria was a delightful move. There he made many friends with his outgoing personality, sense of humour and love of British sports cars. He met Barbara at a car show she attended with her mother, Elizabeth. Barbara, and Jeremy shared 40 happy years together. He will be greatly missed and loved by his family and many friends.
There will be no service by request. Donations in Jeremy‘s memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
