I worked with John on the Beacon Hill Park story pole on 2 occasions . A great craftsman , story teller and certainly liked having fun while working !.Last time we worked on the pole , Maxine and Calvin were on site as well ....a trio of skilled , caring and engaging people . We have lost a person who really cared about the various story poles around the lower part of the Island . Sorry to hear about John`s passing . He will be missed.
