Obituaries

I was shocked and saddened to read of Jon's passing. I met Jon the first day of grade nine when I was seated next to him in home room and we quickly became great friends. I vividly recall walking to his house most mornings before high school and waiting for him to ever so slowly rouse from bed and get organized - he wasn't a morning guy at least in the late 60's. Jon was always a fun guy to be around and I don't think there was anyone he didn't like or didn't like him. Unfortunately as often happens I lost track of Jon after graduation but I'll never forget those fun teen years and I'll always consider it a privelege to have known him and to have called him my friend.

Dear Heather and family, I'm so very sorry to read of Jon's passing. I had the honour and privilege of having Jon as a colleague and friend. He was a wonderful man. I have so many fond memories of our times at the Bargaining table with BC Systems. He was kind, funny, calm and diplomatic, I cherish those times. Please know that I am thinking of you all at this sad time.
