Krystal Katelyn PLETT (Wilson)

July 21, 1980 - July 1, 2023

A beacon of kindness

Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

With great sadness, Krystal Katelyn (Wilson) Plett left this world too soon at age 42. Krystal passed peacefully at her home from lung cancer, an
18-month journey where she showed immense courage and inspiring strength. Her compassion and deep love for her family and friends will
create a legacy for her that we all would want for ourselves. She was a lover of nature, animals, and people. Krystal’s dream was to continue
traveling the world with her husband, Clint Plett, and fulfill their curiosity and life adventures together.

Krystal and Clint were inseparable from the day they met in 2010 and had a fairy-tale marriage for 10 years, 8 days of happiness. Krystal was
intense, passionate, and a beacon of kindness. She was an amazing wife and mom to their four incredible fur babes, whom all five knew she was
the boss.

Krystal will always be remembered as an advocate for abused and homeless dogs. Her first dog Dexter was from an abused situation that Krystal,
on her own, removed for less than a 12-pack and loved beyond words for 12 years. Her impact on the Victoria dog community is unmeasurable.
From the love she gave the dogs she adventure hiked with for her own company RuffK9 to the rescued dogs she connected to forever homes,
she loved them; that was her motive.

We all were inspired by Krystal’s ability to connect with people, animals and create community and friends. She had the ability to know your
whole life story in 5 minutes, and you were loved for life. She was one of a kind, incomparable, and nothing but goodness.
Krystal leaves behind her loving parent’s mother, Debra Wilson, father, Ted Cuckovick, her loving sister Brittany (Rob) Sampson; brother-in-law
Lennie and Ian Plett; and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and her loving friendships.

There will be a Celebration for Krystal’s Life on July 21 st , her 43 Birthday. To honor Krystal’s legacy, please donate to RainCoast Dog Rescue and
help fill the void we have lost in Krystal’s goodness. Cancer is not a battle to be won; Krystal’s inspiring strength to beat this ugly disease made
you think she had a chance every day.
