Lillian was a dear friend and neighbour to our family, and later in life, very much a surrogate mother to many of us who found ourselves without our own. I have many fond memories of growing up on Ebor Terrace, a dead-end street where I roamed freely as a kid. The Bentham door was always open and Lillian and something scrumptious coming out of her oven. Lillian had enduring positivity and was all about family. We will miss her and will always remember her as an example of strength and faith. Rest in peace, dear Lillian. God bless you. Love from Charlotte, Fedele and Daniel
