Claxton, Louis Mar 02, 1936 (Sidney, BC) May 24, 2021 (Saanichton, BC) Lou is survived and dearly missed by Adelynne his wife of 63 years; children Kimberly (Reginald) Robinson, Nick (Trish); 6 grandchildren; along with many relatives, close friends and colleagues across N. America. Lou spent 25 years working for BC Ferries, he spent 20 years on the Band Council and 25 years as Chief of the Tsawout First Nation. Lou was dedicated and committed to his culture as is evidenced by his efforts in preserving his first language through contributing to the creation of the Sencoten dictionary.
Graveside service 10 am Friday May 28, 2021 at the Tsawout Cemetery.
