Lynda was born in London Ontario on Mar 29 1947 to Theresa and Eric Horton growing up in old south only 3 blocks from the man she would marry even though they never knew each other during their school years. She was big sister to Rick growing up and eventually became a school teacher always in the jk to grade 3 age range. After marriage to Bob in 1972 and three rambunchious boys in 1974,75, and 78 ( DAVE JAMIE , TED) she took 10 years off to be as stay at home Mom. Shortly after retirement she and Bob relocated to North Saanich and became more and more involved in Peninsula Singers, quilting and sewing groups, newcomers, book clubs and even organizing school groups visiting the sidney museum. Adding to her busy life came her 3 precious grandsons from our eldest son Dave and his wife Christine. Tyler, Ryan and Wyatt were her pride and joy. Of course always supporting and loving her two other sons -Jamie and Ted who live in London Ont and Vancouver respectively.
This idealic life came crashing down with a 9 week battle with brain cancer.
Thank you to all of you who made our eleven years in the Sidney area so so happy and fulfilling .
