“MARGARET WALSH nee CARRUTHERS. Born December 12, 1925 in Strathroy, Ontario. Passed away peacefully in hospital November 13, 2014 in Sidney, BC. Nursing graduate of St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, and employed at Scarborough General Hospital and Providence Centre, Toronto. She leaves behind her children, Theresa Mary Walsh (David Weir) of Victoria, BC, and Michael William Walsh of Toronto, as well as many nieces and nephews and their children. Predeceased by brothers: Arthur, Dr. Henry, George, and Dr. Alex Carruthers, and sisters: Kathleen Elliott, Myrtle Haughton and Lourene Scott. Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth’s in Sidney, B.C. 1pm November 21, 2014, followed by memorial service at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home in Scarborough 1pm November 29, 2014, and interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.”
