NELSON, Michael (Mike), 41, formerly of Campbell River, BC, passed away from sudden heart failure on April 6, 2014 in Victoria, BC. He is survived by his mother Nancy, father Donald, and sister Rosalie. Mike had a positive outlook, a great sense of humor, and the ability to lift others up when they needed it and will be greatly missed by family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24 at 3:30 pm at St. John the Baptist Heritage Church, 537 Glencairn Lane, Colwood, BC; reception to follow. His love of music and amazing musical ability were his greatest passion and in lieu of flowers, donations to MusiCounts.ca would be appreciated.
