SNIDER, Ralph Mervyn (Duke)… Passed in his sleep at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria B.C., Wednesday, January 6th, 2021 in his 90th year. Born in Vancouver B.C., the son of the late Lorne and Freida Snider nee Dickenson. Predeceased by his loving wife Ellen Lorna Snider and his sister Loreen McConnell. Survived by his brother Daryl Snider.
Proud father of Rob Snider and Brian Snider and his wife Kerry Snider, nee Lancaster. Grandfather of Jason, Melanie and her husband Seth Chapa, Sean and his wife Kaitlin Saunders, Adam and Leanne. Great grandfather of Rylan, Blakely, Celeste and Dean. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
‘Duke’ to his military acquaintances, Uncle ‘Merv’ to his family, ‘Poppy’ to his grandkids, served 32 years in the RCAF.
A private cremation service will take place at CARE Funeral Services, Victoria, B.C.
