I send my love and condolences to all the family. Rusty was Dean when I started attending All Saints', and he extended his kindness to myself, Alice and Emma on many occasions. He will be missed by many, and for many reasons. The Youth Group there flourished in the 70s, especially with the lively "Russel Sprouts" and we have so many happy memories of the time you all spent in Edmonton (including Ragtime piano music) in addition, of course, to the caring ministry and pastoral care given by both Ruth as well as Rusty. Blessings to you all, Sue

We were very saddened to hear of Russell's passing, as he was a long term friend of our family. We have good memories of times with Russell, including at All Saint's Cathedral where he presided at our wedding in 1980. He was a good friend to Bill and Mary, both in Edmonton and after they retired to Victoria. He always made a point of dropping by when we visited Mom and Dad in Victoria and our children also got to know "Mr Brown". We particularly appreciated his support on Mom's passing in 2004 and Dad's passing in 2010. Our condolences to all of you at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Brice, Lorna, Kelsey and Elanna Stephenson

We first met "Rusty" Brown at St. Michael's and All Angels Church in 2000, and decided this would be our Church, and our priest. "Rusty" was truly a Man of God, and a caring and loving person. We will miss him, but never forget him. Rest Eternal, dear friend, Ben and Ellen Lowery
