Rose Elaine Pearl (Wilson) Ratchford1933-2014
Passed away peacefully on the morning of February 2, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gerard (Gerry) Ratchford, her children Geraldine, Charmaine, Laurence, James, Ramona, Gary, Ian and Elizabeth, as well as 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren along with many family and friends. Rose was an active member of Colfax # 1 and Unity 145 Rebekah Lodges and Department Association of Ladies Patriarchs Militant, she was also a dedicated Relief Society member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and will be deeply missed by many. Our family would like to thank the staff at the Priory for the loving care of our Mother and Nana. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, February 14th at Hatley Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m., and a Memorial Service and Reception will be held Saturday, February 15th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints , 2990 Quadra Street, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of B.C.
