A celebration eucharist for Ruth will be held at St George’s Anglican church, Cadboro Bay, Victoria on Ruth’s birthday, Oct 14, 2023, 3 pm followed by afternoon tea in the church narthex. All are welcome.

Ruth welcomed me in to their home as a 13 year old friend of Susan, despite already having a gaggle of girls. Over the years, as she raised her family, moved homes & provinces, I feel honored to have been included. She influenced me greatly by living God's messages beyond Sundays. I will always treasure the memories of her big, genuine smile and bright eyes, and hear her voice calling me "Susan's red-headed friend".
