Ryan Zachary Miller, 14 , of , Sidney B.C passed away on Aug 12th 2013 in Calgary Alberta.
A private Burial will be held at 11.00am Wednesday August 21
At Royal Oak Burial park with Ron Pahl, officiating. Arrangements are by CARE Funeral services.
A celebration of Ryan’s life with everyone welcome will be held at The Bodine Hall in the Mary Winspear at 3:00pm on Wednesday August 21.
Ryan went to sleep in Innisfail, AB on August 10, 2013 and was taken by ambulance to Red Deer Hospital when he wouldn’t wake up. He was then flown by STARS helicopter ambulance to Calgary Children’s Hospital. A cat scan showed an abnormality called AVM, which caused hemorrhaging in the brain. He passed away peacefully on August 12, 2013 surrounded by his family.
Ryan was born in Red Deer, AB to Melanie and Chris on December 28, 1998. He went to school at Parkland Secondary School, Sidney, BC. Ryan had a passion for photography. He loved to go paintballing (as a sniper, because he didn’t want to be hit) with his friends. He had a huge love for music, especially Pink Floyd. Ryan also enjoyed dirt biking in the summer months. He spent a lot of time conversing with his friends while playing his games on xbox.
Ryan will be dearly missed by his mother Melanie, fathers Chris & Geoff, and Melissa. Grandparents Bob and Coleen, Fran and Hugh, and Shirley. Best friends Jacob & Zach. Numerous Aunts , Uncles, cousins, and close friends. A special thank you for Uncle Kyle and Auntie Nicole for all of their help and support.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Alliston, Pat Baxter, Allen Cooper, John Curtis, Jimmy Lee, and Wally Norbury.
In lieu of flowers any donations can be made to Calgary Children’s Hospital.
