To the Pasta family: I express my sympathy in the loss of your Dad. I knew your Mum and Dad through Spanish classes. They were both lovely people who were a pleasure to have in one's company. I am so sorry that you have lost both of your parents in such a short space of time. I know that as good people, they must also have been good parents and that you will miss them terribly. I am sorry that I cannot attend your Dad's memorial as I am not yet mobile since my last hip surgery in August. My thoughts are with you at this time. Sincerely, Marilyn Wale.

It is with the sincerest of sympathy I offer my condolences to the Pasta families. I remember Sam when he lived in Winnipeg, his father Ludovico married my Aunt Kay, my mothers sister. We visited often and had some good times as I remember , he was a little younger by 10 years . The dinner table was always full with all the sisters and us boys yapping away. I am sure he will be missed, but is resting peacefully with his loving partner in Paradise . Sincerely , Peter Maruca

My cousin Sam was like another brother in our family. A gentler kinder human being could never be found! He was a talented artist and I still proudly display his amazing horse painting. My favourite smile is thinking of Sam as Chief Lasagna in the homemade James Bono movies. He should have got an Oscar for his acting skills! We had many great and happy memories of our time with Sam. The Pasta Kids were some of my greatest treasured times in my life and our world dims a little with Sam's passing.

Dear Pasta Family, We were saddened to read Rachele and Sam passed away. We came to know Your parents several years again while selling their home on Jacklin Rd and getting them settled at Waterstone. We stayed in touch mostly by email. Resently Sam sent us a note to say how much he was missing his wife. They were wonderful people always telling us about what the kids where up to. We know they will be missed by many. Our sincere sympathy goes our to the family at this very sad time. We are away and will not be back in time to attend the service. Sincerely, Roy and Deborah Coburn
