With great sadness we announce the passing of our father William (Bill) Shouldice on Feb 25, 2015 in Victoria, British Columbia. Predeceased by wife Ruby (2014), beloved father of Janet (Rheal), Catherine (Don), Nancy (Brian), Billy (Jennifer) and Bobby. Loving Grandpa of 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Bill spent most of his life in Toronto, Ontario. He was born there in 1933, married Ruby (Scott) there in 1951 and together they raised their five children in Toronto. Bill was a professional truck driver for 46 yrs spending most of his career with Smith Transport which later became CP Express then Interlink. Bill and Ruby retired to Victoria, BC in 2004. Bill thought Victoria was God’s Country and he wanted to spend his last years there. Bill had a strong love for his family and we all have wonderful memories to cherish. Swimming boating fishing and tobogganing are just a few of the memories we have. Dad adored our mother Ruby his wife of 62 years and was broken hearted when she passed last year. One of Bill’s granddaughters said “they are probably up there dancing together now”, and we believe they are.
Together forever and never forgotten.
