RACHEL BERMAN (1946 – 2014)
Renowned artist Rachel Berman (AKA Susan King)
passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May
28th at her home in Victoria, British Columbia.
Rachel was 68 years old. Beloved friend of John
Ingram, Tarah Aylward and Jeff Duns. Rachel was loved
by all who knew her. A special thank you to all her friends
for the wonderful care and support over the last years
of her life. Berman lived to paint, creating masterful
works that remain to be enjoyed throughout the ages.
Self described as a solitary flâneur, Berman was a quiet
observer of life, a thinker and a humanist.
In our hearts always, Rachel will be celebrated and
mightily missed. As she was fond of inscribing on
her paintings – Rachel Berman is Still Travelling.
As per her wish, there will be no visitation or
funeral service. However, friends are invited to
visit Ingram Gallery to share their memories.
If desired, in memoriam donations may be
made to your favourite art institution and/or local
animal shelter.
