Stephanie, Sheridan and families- my sincere sympathy on the loss of your parents.I may have met one of you with Bill one time, while shopping. I worked with Bill from 1979 until his retirement and afterwards would chat with him when we ran into each other shopping. (Your Mom was always with him. ) I always admired his courage and strength in having survived the war. And I was so pleased he lived such a long, healthy life. Bill was an excellent technical writer. He would have been proud of the obituary in the Sarnia Observer and on this website. (So kudos to the writer!) I will pass the obituary on to any Polysar people from those years, in case they've missed it. Again, I am sorry to hear of their deaths.

I was very lucky to work with Thelma at Stuart, Eddy and Kent Law Firm as my very first full time job. I worked Reception, but she taught me how to do the bookkeeping which I really enjoyed. She was full of fun and a joy to work with. Her family was so precious to her. Sending my deepest condolences.

I am so very sorry to hear of Thelma's passing. Sorry you had to lose both parents so close together. I worked with Thelma years ago at Stuart,Eddy & Kent and I remember her wild sense of humour. She was a very nice person and was kind to me as it was my first job out of high school. Years later, we always stopped to talk when we ran in to each other shopping. Please accept my deepest condolences, I will miss her.

So sorry for your loss of both parents so close together. But like you said they were so close it is not as shocking. I knew Bill from Polysar (as it was previously known) then both he and Thelma as being our neighbours on Kim St. They were lovely people and I am sure a lot of Sarnia friends will miss them.
