To the Woolley Family. Mr. Woolley was a contemporary of my father-in-law Granville (Newfie) Best and they served together in the Infantry for decades (PPCLI). Being a contemporary of Mike's (as far back as 1985), I wanted to send along a note from my family to let you know that our thoughts are with you. My condolences to Jims family. I first met Jim in the early 80s when I first joined the 3rd Battalion. Jim was my CSM. I learned a lot from him and he was always fair regardless of any situation. Thank you Jim for all you have taught me about Ethics and Leadership. I will raise a glass of club soda in your memory as I remember that being your favorite drink. My sincere condolences.
