We had a love hate relationship. Kinda like a father and son. My Father was the same rank. I joined at 18 my brother at 17 Wooley helped me and others to understand what it means to be a soldier and a better person .Not often able to laugh at his great humor maybe if we were one on one or at family day. When he held my daughter and met my wife I realized I was sort of in his work family and I he was someone to trust and respect. So sorry to hear about your boys. I am in View Royal. If you ever need anything please let know. Bill

To the Woolley Family. Mr. Woolley was a contemporary of my father-in-law Granville (Newfie) Best and they served together in the Infantry for decades (PPCLI). Being a contemporary of Mike's (as far back as 1985), I wanted to send along a note from my family to let you know that our thoughts are with you. I have only just learned of Mr. Woolley's passing today. Take care and all the best. Stephen Joudrey

My condolences to Jims family. I first met Jim in the early 80s when I first joined the 3rd Battalion. Jim was my CSM. I learned a lot from him and he was always fair regardless of any situation. Thank you Jim for all you have taught me about Ethics and Leadership. I will raise a glass of club soda in your memory as I remember that being your favorite drink. My sincere condolences. Joe Merritt
