I met Warren (Zeb) when we were kids while he was visiting Gramma in Assiniboia during the summer of probably 1970. As timed passed he came to school in our town and we also played minor hockey together. After grad and joining the military, we ended up together in Victoria. We spent some time together on HMCS Annopolis as well as a few other spots. Zeb had a huge impact on a lot of people and will be sadly missed.

My deepest condolences to Zeb's family and many friends in this time of loss. Zeb and I sailed in KOOTENAY all those years ago and out paths would cross again over the years. A great story teller who could spin a few yarns of his adventures. One was when he had to deal with the beaver dams when over in Aldergrove. Anyone who attended a Mess dinner with Zeb know there was going to be a fair amount of friendly bantering throughout. You made an impact among many Shipmate.
