Bill slipped peacefully away from us early in the morning of April 10 at the age of 77 with his remaining children by his side.
He was pre deceased by his parents, John and Annie, siblings; Michal, Joseph, and Natalie. Also, sadly by his two step-daughters Lucinda (Cindy) French and Kathy Holborn.
Bill leaves behind the rest of his loving family to mourn his loss: sister Doreena, brother Victor, step-son Ian Holborn and daughters Cheryl and Sandra.
Born and raised in Victoria, Bill loved his home town and was very interested in its history and geography.
Bill was also an avid fan of the Canucks, Victoria Royals and BC Lions and loved going to games.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 1 pm. North Park Manor Community Room. 875 North Park St., Victoria, BC.
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the BC Cancer Foundation or the Victoria Hospice Society in Bill’s memory.
Many thanks to all the wonderful staff at Victoria Hospice for making Dad’s final days with us comfortable and dignified. You are all true angels.
