Bernice was predeceased by her parents, Chester & Pearl Francis, brother Arnold, sister Arlene, brother Earl along with son Charles (Chuck).. She was born in 1932, in Belbute, Saskatchewan. Beloved wife of 71 years to John and admired mother of Evangeline Grace. Bernice was loved dearly by her 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A devoted and gifted minister’s wife with several roles in 4 Provinces of canada, a graduate of The Ministry of Justice and a Home Care Assistant. She was a valuable employee of Woodwards and Eatons. Bernice survived bereavement, cancer and other challenges with grace and dignity. Many “will rise up and call her blessed.” Peacefully at rest with the Saviour she loved for 93 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, 11:00am at Coastline Church, 1800 Quadra Street, Victoria, BC
