On February 7, 2026, at the Glengarry Long-Term Care Centre in Victoria, Mr. Gaspard Picard passed away.
He was the son of the late Joseph-Arthur Picard and the late Yvonne Beaulieu.
He is mourned by many family members and friends, in addition to his late wife, Kathrin Augusta Picard. He was the brother of the late Germain Picard (Céline Fortin), the late Gisèle (Jacques Séguin), the late Abbé Rémi (Suzanne Simard), and the late Thérèse.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of the Glengarry Centre for the wonderful care and attention provided, as well as the employees of Alexander Mackie Lodge for their support and presence.
In accordance with his wishes, a private ceremony will be held in the presence of close family.
To honor his memory, you may take a moment of quiet reflection or perform an act of kindness toward others, reflecting the values he held dear.
He leaves behind the memory of a life that touched those who crossed his path.
