Dear Mary and family. I was saddened to read of Bobs passing. I only have fond memories of working with Bob at B.C. Transit. The tears of laughter that we shared ( usually at Bobs' expense, the rowboat rental story was and will remain my favorite ). A most wonderful and unforgettable man. With love, Joe Hronek

Dear Mary & Family: It was with great shock and deep sadness when we opened our newspaper this morning and read about your dear Bob's passing. The obituary was beautiful and what a beautiful human being he was. We so enjoyed our visits with you especially the one when we met "quite by accident", MAYBE, in Palm Springs, California, We all had a lovely dinner with our friend TaraLyn, and remember Mary?, it turned out you had been her mother's caregiver right up to the time her mom passed. We have never believed it was a coincidence. We remember Bob's incredible sense of humor, and how his smile just lit up his face. He made you feel comfortable at first visit, and you felt like you'd known him forever. We too remember all the heartache and worries over your grandson Robbie with his heart problems, and how it impacted your lives so deeply. He truly is a miracle. Mary, Ross and I will stop by for a visit when you are ready. You will miss him dearly, he truly was a great man, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.
